  • Your evaluation starts with a full-body movement and strength assessment to see how your foot and ankle interact with the rest of your body. We look at how you walk, run, and load your foot — not just at rest, but in motion. We also use strength and balance testing to identify asymmetries, mobility restrictions, and control deficits that contribute to pain or performance limitations.

  • Your program is designed around your unique movement patterns and goals. Treatment may include:

    • Manual therapy and joint mobilization to restore normal motion at the ankle and midfoot

    • Dry needling to improve muscle activation and reduce tension

    • Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training to safely build lower-leg strength and endurance

    • Progressive loading exercises to rebuild tendon capacity

    • Foot mechanics retraining that goes beyond stretching and heel raises — focusing instead on restoring true foot motion, strength, and coordination so your foot can do what it’s designed to do

We combine these techniques to not only reduce pain but also help you move more efficiently from the ground up.

  • Recovery time varies depending on the severity and duration of your symptoms, as well as your activity level. Many clients notice improvement within the first few sessions as mobility and control begin to return. A full recovery plan typically takes several weeks of consistent strength and movement retraining.

  • Yes — our goal is to keep you moving safely. We modify your training to maintain strength, conditioning, and mobility while your foot and ankle heal. You’ll know exactly which exercises to keep, which to modify, and how to load progressively to avoid setbacks.

  • Hart & Hustle is a premium service that operates out of network. This allows us to structure your care around your goals rather than what insurance will cover. Many services we provide, such as treating the whole body, educating you, creating a customized program, following up between sessions, and supporting fitness-related goals, are often not reimbursed by insurance. We can provide superbills for clients in Ohio, but reimbursement varies depending on your plan, so you will need to check with your insurance provider directly.
